Yu Pui Shan (Shan), an emerging Hong Kong artist, excels in using inner spaces and objects, especially chandelier, to create a psychological space subconsciously through oil paintings. In this first solo exhibition, Shan will showcase her most current work and oil paintings in the past ten years.

Evolving around the concept of “exploring spaces” inspired by her personal experiences, inner emotions and dreams while being influenced by Surrealism, Symbolism and Post-Minimalism, her work contains a unique sense of mystery. In her new curtain series, artist pushes to the further extreme of purity and sincerity. What behind mystery is nothing but curiosity!

From chandelier to her curtain, audience would experience a psyche complex between mystery and curiosity.

新晉藝術家余佩珊善於利用空間及物件，特別吊燈，透過她的油畫創造一個心靈空間。在這首次個展中，Shan將展示她最新的作品和過去十年的油畫精選。

作品靈感源自個人經歷及內在情感，Shan的油畫圍繞著「探索空間」的意念；受到「超現實主義」、「象徵主義」及「後簡約主義」的影響，她的畫作賦有一種獨特的神祕感。在她的全新布簾系列更把這種神祕推到極端的「純粹」性：神祕的背後就是好奇！

由吊燈到她的布簾，觀眾將會經驗一個遊離於神祕與好奇之間複雜的心路歷程。
